The game is out of this world, really fun and very colourful!
What can I say?! I have loved the Cake Mania games for years and I have every last one. I was so sad to see that Sandlot games shutdown and sold to someone else but they sure went out with a bang on this Cake Mania game. It's nice and long and so much fun to play. I have played this game through about 4 or 5 times. I just got done playing through it again and I will surely play it through again one day.
loved this game it was just fantabulous.......one must try this game
I love all the Cake Mania games, but this one was kind of a disappointment to me because you ONLY have the bakery, no other shops like in previous games and there are no mini-games. It's nice and long, but that also makes progress slow. It takes forever to earn enough to start upgrading your equipment so it can feel excruciatingly slow compared to the other Cake Manias. The game is set in the past when Jill was a teenager, but they didn't need to set the gameplay back as well! Still, it is fun and worth it, just not as good as I hoped.
I am new to Time Management games and recently got addicted to the Cake Mania series. So far, I have played Cake Mania Main Street and Cake Mania Lights Camera Action, and I found that those games can get hair pulling frustrating rather quickly. Perhaps this is because I am new to these kind of games, but I just started playing Cake Mania To The Max today and so far I have found it to be easier than those games but just as fun. I recommend Cake Mania To The Max to people that are new to Time Management and/or have found those other games in the series too challenging. People who are more experienced with these kind of games might find it too easy, but so far I find it to be the right level of challenge for a beginner, and I think it has a cute story and fun characters.
I liked the hurriedness of the game and the characters were fun and very different.
I was VERY disappointed with this game. I've played all of the cake mania games before it and this one was truly a step backwards. First off. In this game things can break now, and when they break you have to go through the level with the broken item and can't repair it untill the next level. It also cost money to repair it (a bunch) Things break quite often as well. (every other lv) On top of that customers now will lose (or gain) hearts by standing next to certain people. (thats an easy fix because you can move people around but still can be a hassle) And the biggest pet peeve I have of all. Is there are now shoplifters in your bakery. If you leave money on the counter next to them for even a second, they steal it. Which if you know from playing any of the past cake manias you have to wait a second or two after the customer leaves for the money to even show up on the counter.
Could we have more levels for these games. I enjoyed it to start with, but then it just got silly and noisy and I had to delete it because it was stressing me out to much. Would really liked to have played it in timed mode but it was just too fast and furious.
