A Wonderful Nobilis-Kheops Creation!

Nobilis Games and Kheops Studios, have succeeded beautifully in giving us a pirate adventure of the highest order. Based on Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island," Jim Hawkins, the little kid of "apple barrel" fame, is all grown up, and summoned secretly to Treasure Island by none other than Long John Silver, himself! Jim must find the treasure before the buccaneers do! Pirates and plots abound, as do cannons and guns and ships and enigmas of all kinds. There is a beautiful, young girl and difficult puzzles, with a steep rock cliff to traverse, as well. This game was a non-stop treat to play, and I advise all who read this review to play the game. You CANNOT pass this one up!

Fun Adventure based on the book

This is a fun filled adventure game with a beautiful setting. If you like those kind of games as much as pirate stories, this is perfect for you. You must find a secret treasure on a tropical Island which you have inherited from your former captain. behind you are some pirates who try to b steal the treasure. You explore the island and the longer you play, the more you get involved in the history of the island. The theme is somehow similar to "Return to Mysterious Island", however the aim is here to find a treasure here and not to be rescued from the island like in the other game.

Awesome game

Totally loved this game. It is much like Mysterious Island but with more characters very entertaining.

good game but short

Not a bad game. Played it long time ago but never rated it. The graphics are ok and the music is good. The puzzles are not hard and the game has a good plot. Good fun game and worth playing.

Destination treasure Island

OMG This was one adventure game that I liked playing especially if it so big. This was one of the best adventure games that I have played

A game well worth mastering

I struggled with this game at first, but it's so beautiful and original I kept trying. Now that I've got the hang of bringing the black stones together it's become a real favourite!

Charming but short pirate adventure

I quite liked this game despite finding it a bit too easy for my taste. It has a charming story, good graphics and fun to solve pirate themed puzzles. The story, which is intended as a continuation of the novel "The Treasure Island", can be considered rather predictable. However, I think it may need to be a bit predictable in order to fulfil our expactations of what a pirate adventure should contain and to stay true to the spirit of the well known book. Besides, the story is presented in such a charming and pleasant way that I didn't care too much that parts of it felt a bit clich?. The graphics are in general really good although I found that the game could have used a bit more character animation. Characters are in general standing or sitting around doing nothing whenever you look at them, presumably at least in part because it would have been more difficult to make the graphics necessary to show characters moving around and doing things, which sometimes detracted a bit from my immersion in the game. This is not a major problem however, in particular since most locations in the game are uninhabited anyway. The puzzles are mostly rather easy but with a few a bit more challenging ones towards the end of the game. The game is also quite short. However, I enjoyed the game enough that I would consider replaying it sometime in the future when my memory of it has faded somewhat, which makes the short playtime somewhat less of a problem. Also, the puzzles were in general fun to solve even when they didn't provide me with very much of a challenge, in particular since the nature of many of the puzzles fitted the pirate theme of the game nicely. In conclusion i would recommend the game to anyone who enjoys a good pirate story.

Loved it!!

All in all I loved this game,it was fun and entertaining, wish it were longer though. As another said, it is the about same as Return to Mysterious Island, but with pirates. Much shorter, much easier. You get to decipher an enigma, which I enjoyed. Have to combine/disassemble items to get them to work for your needs. Rather easy, with some thinking scenerios/puzzles.(the last puzzle was my favorite)

I love Kheops games!

I enjoyed this games. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because it was a little shorter than I expected having played all of the Return to Mysterious Island games by the same developer. I really do love games like this.....two thumbs up!!

Don't bother

This game was more involved with knowing how to tie knots (which is still a hit and miss for me) and disassemble and reassemble items which you best know what they are contained by. My knowledge of a sextant (besides being "marine" related) was nil but necessary. The walkthrough was not helpful when you really needed it. It made no logical sense to me and I wish I hadn't bothered. That being said, the graphics were great but there was but one puzzle in the entire game and it needed a walkthrough to "not" understand what they were talking about.
