Nice HOG for history lovers

This review is based on the demo. I was actually surprised about how much I liked the game - it's good to be able to kick back and relax once in a while! It's a straight HOG with some interactive scenes. Graphics are crisp and match the historical setting. Gameplay is very easy. You get to play in either timed or untimed mode; I chose timed, which fit me just fine. The minigames have a separate timer, which is much more unforgiving than the HOG timer! There don't seem to be a wide variety of minigames; just 3 or 4 types, I think. You can earn a few trophies, but they're mostly for things you'd do anyways (complete level x etc.) Within the HO scenes, you often get pop-ups, which got on my nerves after a while; this info could have been better placed! The storyline is a bit weird, but the Earhart references are a nice touch and pretty accurate, from what I can tell. Overall, I would get this as the Daily Deal. This game should appeal to anyone wanting to learn about Amelia Earhart, or HOG purists.

No Deal

This game= No good. I wouldn't buy it if I were you. Here are more in-depth thoughts on the game: Good Parts: Instead of the usual Hidden Object Game, which focuses on mystery, this game was more of a fantasy one. Option of timed or Relaxed (I played relaxed) OK Parts: Dialogue was good, but there were no voiceovers, making the game seem very un-realistic. Bad Parts: Every scene of the game was Hidden Objects. There should've been some walking around or storylines at least! No storyline. This is what every hidden object game needs. This also made it hard for me to follow Stupid penalties for relaxed mode. Random clicking costs you a hint, which almost made me go timed mode. Overall, this game is really bad. I can't and won't reccomend it, unless, of course you really like Big City Adventure and other games with no storyline or all hidden objects.
