Different again - elephant games just keeps it fresh and great! bonus review at bottom

If you liked royal detectives you should try this and it has the same length in the main game but a way longer bonus (thankfully) than royal detectives. It's not one of their mega long games (but then I'm an adventure player so maybe it would be to you.) I really, really loved this game and yet it?s so different from the live actors and a lot of games that elephants have done which I love and are my favourite. I?m glad they decide to keep being different and this game is different, a fairy tale and you are Thumbelina fighting against the witch who has put a spell on your prince. The graphics are different also but thankfully they have kept it super sharp and in the HOS. I have no idea why they chose frankly the worst three screenshots out of the whole game (especially the HOS) and put in the main page but the graphics are gorgeous. Changing the seasons was pure fun. I do wish they would do a pure adventure game (not instead of their HOPAs but on top of) and here with only 10 HOS in the whole game and not that many puzzles (compared with boomzap games) adventure lovers will love this as it is very much adventure driven and feels like an adventure game, not even an adventure/puzzle game. There are achievements and collectables (butterflies). As usual, you have a transporter map (and map tips if you play casual) there are three settings which you can change during the game. There is black bar tips on hardest. My only nitpicking note was that near the end of the game you had to go back to old areas, even though it was somewhat changed, I would love it if it was like surface and it?s all new areas. Despite that I did feel throughout there were a lot of new areas to explore like a good adventure game should have. 10 HOS Usual ? never repeat their HOS, and there is no random click penalty on them. They are mostly very cluttered scenes or junk piles and I would love it if they could do non junk pile. In a couple of their recent games their HOS have not been that clear but

A Wonderful Twist On A Beloved Classic!

Wow!! Elephant Games Delivers again! 1. Great Storyline 2. Beautiful music 3. Major eye candy with the graphics 4. Achievements .....and with that said, I have nothing more to add. This game is just perfect all around! I swear, Elephant Games just get better and better with each release!

Well Done Hidden Object Game

I'll start by saying that I wondered why the first reviewer wrote so little - it's because they were enjoying themselves so much that they didn't have anything to say! Storyline: You finally found your Prince Charming and were set to get married, however, on your wedding day, your princes' past caught up with him and a dark witch claimed that he was to marry HER, ravens attached the wedding and guests, she took your prince, and evil took over the floral kingdom. You must find him and restore the kingdom. Options: Music, Effects, Environment, Voice Graphics: Gamma Screen: Full, Wide, Custom Cursor, Special Effects Difficulty: Casual, Advanced, Hardcore Strategy Guide: General Tips, 6 Chapters + 1 bonus. Tools: Magic Mirror for hints, and a navigatable map that shows current tasks. Collectibles: Butterflies Overall the game itself is a puzzle... almost an adventure game, but not quite. In the demo, I encountered only two hidden object scenes that are clearly drawn with large objects, but can be a bit tricky to find. Mini games I encountered were not new ones, just classics with a new look or twist. Returning to how I started the review, I guess the fact that I had difficulty collecting information on this game should tell you that I was thoroughly entertained. It's not quite a WOW, for me, but I really had fun - what a funny little game.

Way to Go BFG, Best Halloween Game Yet!

They say that Hades hath no fury than a woman scorned and it seems that our handsome Prince forgot to mention that he was once upon a time involved with the Raven Queen, who incidently is hot looking, who can blame him?On her wedding day, Thumbalina loses her Prince and now must embark on an adventure to save him from the clutches of the Queen. This is a beautiful HOPA designed by Elephant games who have never disapointed me in the past. I loved the graphics, the majestic colors, the artwork and voice-overs. There are three play modes to choose from and a map which will transport you to any location. You also have achievements and butterflies to collect during your journey which always adds an extra element of challenge to any game. The HO scenes are interactive and mini-games are uniquely designed and relevant to the story at hand. The game plays like a fine-tuned adventure and I especially loved the scene where you needed to change the seasons in order to complete your task. Thumbalina is not alone and her companion is a magic Mirror who not only has a sense of humor but acts as a guide and hint provider. I actually bought the game without even playing the demo only because I really do love these developers. Kudos to them for yet another beautiful game with all the bells and whistles that a CE deserves. BFG has not disappointed us this week-end with this magical fairytale which I am confident everyone will enjoy.

Good game and not that hard

I happen to like more adventure than HOS. Lots going on in the game. The HOS are not hard and the puzzles are fine. Good music and graphics. Has voice over. Hind button works very good and the skip button is fast. Has a map that will move you from one area to another. Lots to do in this game.

Comical Twist For Thumbelina!

Elephant Games is one of my favorite developers. They use all of the bells and whistles to bring great quality to their games. This one is not disappointing. Great graphics, cutscenes and voice overs. You collect butterflies along the way and you just get to interact with so many things throughout your adventure, even in your HO scenes. Never to be bored while playing this game. There are also achievements to be had which is always a plus. This is more like what a Collector's Edition should be like and more worth the money. Such a magical time while playing this one!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME

The knock-your-socks-off graphics in this game are just breathtaking and wide screen. All the way through my mind was going "Wow, ahh, ohh, look at that." I used to love Thumbelina as a child and as far as I know, this is the first game based on her and an absolutely delightful one. I so enjoyed the dialogue, especially from the hint button. It speaks to you as though you are personally acquainted and it's really fond of you. It made me smile, a lot. Thumbelina also has some humourous things to say, so hats off to the dialogue writers. The iHOS are very limited so I did not mind seeing the occasional sparkle, and they also have quite a small number of items to find. There are collectables and loads of achievements. I even got one for x number of times clicking on the wrong thing! Hilarious. It is wonderfully inventive and imaginative and the characters I met along the way were great. It also has some utterly, adorably cute little creatures, that would melt a heart of stone. My personal favourite - a jump map - complete with labels and pictures, so if you can remember where you have to go to use something but not what it's called, hey presto. Terrific. SG is not bookmarked, but the hint button is all I needed, except for some puzzles I could not figure out. But that was seldom as the puzzles are doable and a lot of fun. I liked the music very much. I did not seem to be on a loop so it did not irritate me. Navigation, top notch. The main game ends conclusively. Good news for the SE. However, the BC is great. It looks at the story from someone else's standpoint and also lets you in on a few secrets you do not suspect in the main game. It took me 1.40 hours and was really worth playing. Altogether, a 6.40 hr game. Value for money in anyone's book. Thank you, Elephant, for a beautifully crafted and brilliantly executed game, again. You are welcome to my money anytime. And you, BFG, do not ever let go of these devs or I'll come over there and have w

Elephant Games! Enough Said!

I couldn't believe the beautiful graphics in this! Wow! This game has it all as far as I'm concerned. Interactive map, a hint that helps even outside HOS.Which, by the way, are interactive and a lot of fun.The mini game/puzzles are,for the most part, on the difficult side. I think so anyway. The storyline is great as well as voice overs. I didn't find anything that I didn't like in this.

Brilliant game

Again, based on the demo the game is superb. The story has the usual wicked witch in for us to overcome but the different ways we have to sort this out is different, The graphics, sound and the way the game plays is also first class and tbh. I'm waiting for the full version to download and can't wait. My hour went extremely quickly too which in my book only means the game had me enthralled. It is made my Elephant Games who always make excellent games.

" Now that's Amore!" Or is it?

What a delightfully creative fantasy HOS/Adventure game! First, you are given 3 playing modes- hardcore, advanced and casual (that's what I played# It's Thumblina's wedding day and it is ruined by the kidnapping of Thumblina's Prince by an evil witch who believes the Prince is to be hers! Take this wonderful journey with the help of a map and a magic Hint mirror that tells you what to do next if you are stuck. You will experience colorful and bright scenery, professional and clear voice-overs, actual "new" mini-games#at least I haven't seen them in my 4 years as an active gamer.# Also, the HOS are clear, bright ,bold and interactive. I didn't need my magnifying glass for this one! There are individual sparkles in the casual mode to designate active areas in a scene. You have 6 regular chapters and 1 bonus chapter. Also the strategy guide. So you want for nothing. There are also achievements and you collect bonus butterflies for extra fun. I say take a visit to this game and take advantage of the Halloween Sale discounted price!
