I am usually pretty critical of the games I buy. I LOVED THIS GAME!!!!. If you really like hidden objcect games this is definitely for you. The majority of the tasks are HO scenes with a few high quality mini-puzzles thrown in. The HO scenes are great - some easy finds and some really challenging ones. A great mix of difficulty. The entire game is absolutely beautiful. The scenery is stunning and beautifully drawn/animated. The worlds are gorgeous and varied. Even the music is great!! I usually get annoyed by the music and turn it off. Not this game! In a refreshing twist the hints are actually helpful! No dumb character that follows you around but provides no value. There are two characters that travel with you but you are not dependent on their help to complete the worlds. I really liked the journal and the fact that you did not have to keep checking it to progress through the game. The text is fairly brief (not tons of time reading useless dribble) and you are told when you have completed each map location. You also get to re-visit many of the locations again later in the game with new challenges. I would highly recommend this game for HO fans. It is now my new favorite game.
I very much enjoyed the game. It was easy, not hard but sweet., The mouse and the Fairy, who keeps calling you Human is funny. This is a Game for young and old, to play. So give it a try it is well worth the money. For people who worry about the how long it is, .It too me about 4 hours. I like to read everything. Enjoy.
This is entertaining and relaxing at the same time. Lots of HOGs, and the items change somewhat if you go through the game again. Most of items are well hidden, so you can feel a bit of accomplishment when you finish a level. The graphics are well done; this is not one of the "eerie scary" games that seem so popular these days. The mouse is the cutest one I've seen since Mickey! Overall, I really liked this experience, so much so that I bought the game.
For some it's either too sweet or too sour. Different strokes for different folks. I personally love the game, and yes it's a buy. "Hi Human" is what the mouse and fairy call you throught out the game, it made me chuckle. Phenomenal logical thinking game. Excellent puzzles.
Buying my games carefully over the years, yet, Big BFG Sale allowed me to go outside my norm. Found this "gem". Really liked the whole game theme here. They needed a human "you" to help and they promised to put you back. Hidden objects you don't mind looking for as music is soothing, artwork is detailed and creative. Objects interact with objects to locate crystals. No looking for sparkle areas as you go room to room. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Wow today's D/D really is a great one. The game is pretty simple, mainly HOG with a few very easy puzzles to solve. This said the game wins for me purely because of the beautiful scenes in this gorgeous land of the fairies. The scenes are so beautifully created that whenever I got really stuck finding an item I didn't even want to use the hint button. This game is one to relax over and enjoying the artwork. Really loving it, a definite buy for me.
You are accompanied on your journey to collect crystals and runes to repair the portal between earth and Sefirem by an elf and the cutest mouse you?ve ever seen, who is costumed with an earring and tail-ring, muffler and granny glasses. The hand-drawn artwork is simply gorgeous (similar to a creative artist's illustration of a fairy tale). Any scene would make a terrific picture to hang in any room needing a bit of whimsy. The mini-puzzles were not difficult. Crystals are collected in 4 locations, each with 3 or 4 scenes, by finding a list of items and using those that go into inventory to interact with the scene. Crystals appear as the inventory is placed. After the crystals are found, you search for runes. Sometimes it was difficult to find an object, usually because the artwork is a stylized interpretation by the artist. But the artwork was so beautiful that I didn?t mind. [But not everyone will like the artwork.] This was a very fun game to play but it ended too soon. I wished the crystals were stolen so the game could continue.
I liked this game as I could get throught it to the end. Most of these I get stuck and cannot get through even with a hint. This is a bit of a challenge but not BIG brain thinking game. It is just fun. Looking to Allora two
Allora and the Broken Portal is a great game. It is not real hard or to easy. The story line is good and the objects can be hard to find. The crystals are beautiful and fun to find. I really recommend this one.
This game had lots of HOS, which I like. The mini games were good and fit into the flow of the game. The story line started out a little confusing and disorganized, but smoothed out as you got into the game. The HOS weren't too difficult, but challenging enough to hold my interest. I did not have to go to the walk through, if one is even available, which is a plus for me. The hints were good and relevant. Not a real challenging game, but a nice experience.
