This is a mahjong game that you play one screen at a time. When you finish one the next opens up. You try to get 3 stars for each level but you can move on even if you don't. The back ground music was very soothing, but that's about the only thing I liked. I played 5 differnt screens Of those I managed to get 2 stars on one screen but only 1 on the rest. That tells me the game would soon get to complicated to be enjoyable. There is no hint button, something I find very useful at times. The tiles and background are in a black and red pen and ink style that I found sort of hard on the eyes. This may be okay for the die hard mahjong fan who doesn't have enough of these games already. Other wise, it's nothing special.
I usually like majhong but this one had nothing to offer. It's not horrible but who wants to just match a couple of gray or pink tiles? It starts out with an automatic tutorial and the levels unlock as you progress. There is a shuffle button and you must earn more shuffles by matching shuffle cards. Just a little ho hum for me.
The problem with this game is the timing. It came a few weeks after Age of Mahjong. I don't like to compare games, but Age of Mahjong has a lot of detail and a lot of imagination. Asian Mahjong is a very simple game. It seems that the developers used the old problem with a different outlook. The visual and the sound quality (seems to me) is excellent but why pay a game that you already have? It is a shame, the graphics is beautiful but will I recommend this game? Well, if this is first for you with Mahjong then yes but if you have other Mahjong games then no. This game with a little imagination can go far.
Very simple game, average graphics, annoying music. Six levels. The first has twenty different boards and each has a goal: removes a number of special tiles (in pink), earn 500 points. The worst thing is that once you remove the tiles in pink, the game ends. You do not need to pair all tiles. 12 trophies, three categories tiles. Nothing new, nothing exciting. I played 15 minutes and deleted.
I love Mahjong but his one isn't it! Too easy and makes it boring..sorry!
After 15 minutes of the demo, it wasn't worth my time to continue. Very simplistic, not very attractive looking screens. It's straight tile matching; not easy to get the desired points/stars, but nothing more to it than matching the tiles. There are many, many "Mahjong" games better than this one. (And I hope everyone knows that matching tiles like this is not the real game of Mah Jongg anyway!)
This game is exactly identical to all the other they games they have cranked out. Totally boring with an aggravating tutorial that seems to treat you as if you were an idiot! No extras to collect. There is nothing either exciting, nothing new. Just he others they have walked out of late. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO MY DOG!!!! Can't even choose the tiles....why? Because they are identical, totally a BOMB!
This is strange. The characters for exit and such is not user friendly and they need to change this game in a lot of ways.
I have noticed that the newer Mahjong games are like this one. I like most styles except this kind, not only can you not turn off the tips but it is timed which is silly with tips on. Also I do not care to look at a lot of the color red so this was exited quickly.
