Great Hidden Object Game

Thoroughly enjoyed playing the demo for this game and it is a buy for me. Narration can be a bit cheesy. Great game for young and old because of the choice of working between word list and picture, and the puzzles are ok but tend to lean towards being too easy - great fun nonetheless. Great hint system. Be sure to listen / read everything at the beginning and first few HO's otherwise you may miss being told about something extra to look for. If you don't like a lot of HO's then this game is not for you.

A Fun & Relaxing Game

What makes this game so much fun is the coyote. You never know what he's going to say next. I played in relaxed mode and really enjoyed the game. You keep going to the same sites looking for objects, although what you're looking for changes each time. After you complete a level, you have to do a mini game to win an object of one of the gods. It's educational in that you get to learn more about the various gods in Aztec mythology. There are some twists at the end that I wasn't expecting, but it's a game that actually has an ending that makes sense. This is one game I'll play again!

Hilarious HOG

Loved it. Funny, light and gorgeous. I tried the demo mode and immediately bought it. I?m going to start again and play the complete story. It?s a game for me. I recommend it. The guide is a macho man and his "dog" is a funny coyote helping two sisters exploring Mexico.

Hilarious!!

This game is so stupid, which makes it both hilarious and fun. You get to choose between two sisters to explore Mexico, casual or expert. You are helped by a much-to-macho guide and an egotistical coyote. You collect all items to face a challenge from the gods. These are you individual puzzles. There is no walkthrough so I had to wing these on my own. Some are different while some are the same. You can choose between picture or word mode to find items, which I liked. HO scenes are repeated, but with different objects. Collect five flowers in certain scenes to win an extra hint. Try this one for a good chuckle!

A real hoot!

When your brain needs a rest from wrestling with tough games, try this one. I can't describe better than others already have what makes this game so much fun (A lot of work went into the dialogue), but I found it irresistible enough to buy even though my punch card was full.

Entertaining

A lot of things to do, not only HOS. Could be more challenging.

Coyote's Tale: Fire and Water

This is a surprisingly, fun hidden object game with a cute sense of humor. The story is about two sisters that are on vacation in Mexico and they are approached by a narcissistic yet handsome man with a talking coyote. The coyote tells them that the end of the world and mankind is approaching unless they can summon all the gods. There aren't any sacrifices in this game, instead you search different locations with an aztec theme for items that are hidden. You can choose to play as one of the sisters, one is timed, the other untimed. You can choose to search for items that are listed or switch to a picture or image of the item, one item at a time and you can click the arrow to scroll through the different images. The HOS start out incredibly easy, prompting me to almost giving up on the game, but each scene seems to get progressively more difficult. After each level of HOS are complete you will play a mini game, again they are really easy so don't sweat it. There are cards to flip over with the goal of matching the correct pairs, and discs to turn until each ring has a different number from 1 to 8. When the puzzle is complete you have summoned that god who will give you a helpful artifact. This is a lighthearted, relaxing game with a tad bit of humor, enjoy!

It Was OK, Not Good Enough to Buy

I played most of the demo. The atmosphere in the scenes is dark and dreary. The graphics were nothing special. If you want really good graphics and bright scenes -- in my opinion -- try Matchmaker or Travel League, which has fantastic water scenes with moving water. Anyway, back to Coyote. You are asked to look for the same things in each scene - snakes, skulls, lizards, scrolls - no imagination. I never did figure out the hint system. You were supposed to look for hearts to earn hints. I never found a heart. If you waited long enough you would be directed to a hidden object. The story line was lame -- something about appeasing gods. It was not interesting. I did enjoy that you could switch between a list of objects and images of objects, even in the middle of a scene. Based on what I saw, and didn't see, I cannot recommend it.

FLOWERS

This game is somewhat grainy in some others and crowded in others while color-on-color in yet other scenes and I did play in timed mode without much difficulty and NEVER had to repeat a scene because of time running out. I did not bother playing the other sister (which was the relaxed mode) If you watch the comments made, you'll eventually learn the ability to gather flowers (up to 5 in each scene) which will, in turn, show you the placement of a hidden object. STILL later, you'll be informed that you'll EARN flowers if you quickly identify and click on 3 hidden objects at a time. As experienced had demonstrated to me the difficulty in finding certain items, I chose to gather 3 hidden objects at a time EARNING flowers and if I got down to 3 items yet found, I would then click on flowers within the scene (AFTER, hopefully finding at least 2 of those 3 items) and then click on a hidden flower(s) within the scene which shows me the last hidden object. HOWEVER, I would NOT click on that last hidden object that the flower power was showing me UNTIL I clicked on the OTHER hidden flowers that were within the scene (remember, there's only 5 in each scene) and that allowed for a build-up of flowers for the next scene. I would then return to my modus operandi of clicking on 3 objects and EARNING more flowers that were combined with the "whatever number of flowers I'd found in the previous scene" which would allow for the finding of a hidden object within THAT scene and then wait until the last item to be found BEFORE collecting those hidden flowers; hopefully, I'd be able to know where that last item was so that I did not have to use up my flower power.

Started fun but it didn't last!

I started this game and really enjoyed it for the first couple of hours. Lots of hidden objects and some really funny and cute characters which make the game fun. Unfortunately, there were about 10 screens that were repeated over all 15 levels with just about the same items to find. It got really boring really quickly. It had a lot of great things going for it, but come on, put in a few other items so it's not the same things we're looking for over and over on the same scenes. Maybe for 2.99 it's worth it. I wouldn't play it a second time. Really disappointed.
