BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE

This game was better than the first one in this 3-part series, the Nefertiti one. The HOS are a little harder so is more challenging, but the mini games are still pretty easy. Again, there is a preponderance of spot-the-differences but more HOS have been added since the first game.

BORING! BORING! BORING!

I bought the whole trilogy as a bundle because I love continuing story-lines. But boy did I regret it! The challenge is non-existant, the storyline flat and the whole of the mini-games uninspiring! If I could give all three of those games back in exchange for even one game credit I would do it in an instant.

Bottom of the barrel

This game is not fun. I was compelled to buy the Strategy Guide because the game play is so fragmented and confusing. You are given a number of things to find in a HOS, but not all of them are in that HOS. Come on, that just isn?t fair and isn?t good game play. How can you know when you are done? Without the guide the game becomes very confusing and is unappealing to me. The artwork is uncommonly bad, objects are often hidden in areas so dark that they are indistinguishable. I did not detect any semblance of a story line. Lacking a plot, it has license to skip all over . You cannot skip puzzles. Solve them or die. The music is grating. The voices are even worse, with their fake accents. I played this without any sound. Did I like anything about the game? My answer has to be not much except the spot the differences scenes.

Curse of the Pharaoh Trilogy - Part I - Very Good!

Deserving 5 Stars.Related to Old Egyptian artifacts and settings. Great music, well lit hidden objects and a story line that continues through two subsequent games-The Quest for Nefertiti and Tears of Sekhmet. Other fun stuff going on such as finding coins to make store purchases, using tools in scenes and clicking on "Wipi" for extra hints, who pops in at the screen's edge. BFG could sell this as a combo pack as I purchased separately during their awesome Sale but would not have otherwise. Thanks BFG!

Curse of the Pharaoh: Napoleon's Secret

Excellent series, this is the first of 3 games. This is more of a "spot the difference" game than a hidden object game however there are HOS just not as many as there are spot the difference games. Each level has 3 coins to find which can be used to purchase upgrades such as a double cursor, an extra hint, a flashlight, mirror, fire extinguisher and an oxygen tank. Most of the levels contain a piece of an artifact to find that will be used at the end of each level to solve a mini game such as turning discs to allow water to flow through canals from start to finished unblocked. Each level has interactive sections where you need to find the missing piece and replace it. The spot the difference puzzles are very well done and some of them will stump you, occasionally a character will pop up on the side and if you are fast enough to catch him you will earn an extra hint. If you like egyptian themed games this one's a keeper, enjoy!

curses...there are only 3 of this series!

i really enjoy the way this is set up so that you have to complete each part before you can go on. story is good, graphics are good, story is good. mini games good! what's not to like? i will replay this game! i did need to go to the walk through but that was a frustration of mine because i wanted to go faster...but i did get better the longer i played. i do wish they would come out with a new one!

Great Trilogy

I really like the Pharaoh's Trilogy. Good Atmosphere, great music, nice graphics, and a lot of things to do: collect coins, earn extra hints, several and funny puzzles, besides the HOS, that are very clear. A very good way to relaxing and having fun.

I love it

A very absorbing game and fun.

Just Boring

Tried for several levels to get into this game, and just gave up. Was not enjoyable at all. Made the mistake of buying this game along with the other Cruise of the Pharaoh as a set, just as terrible!
