I liked this game. When I started to play it, I did not have to use the hint button very much. The HO, Hidden Object part of the game was not that hard. I was able to find the objects without using the hint button very much. If someone is afraid of ghosts, then is not the game for you. It is not that bad on ghosts. I would recommend this game.

My review on this is that its actually pretty good. There are games that are the same to this: -Mystery of mortlake mansion -Phantasma You also have to find stuff in those games and its mysterious but I think the plot of the scarecrows was pretty good but mystery of mortlake mansion is the best and Phantasma has the best scripts. Also I hate the idea that I'm a boy but you HAVE to be a girl in the game.

When I played through the trial of Farm Mystery: The Happy Orchard Nightmare, I initially found it entertaining. A fun, if somewhat simple, hidden object game. I purchased the game, hoping to find more engaging puzzles and challenges to unravel the mystery. Imagine my disappointment when, with only another 15-20 minutes of game play (if that) the end of the game was agonizingly anti-climactic. If you're a newcomer (and I do mean VERY new) to HOG's then this MIGHT be one to look at. If you're searching for a real challenge...pass this one by.

Simple plot; girl has to save boy on haunted farm. Pretty predictable. Graphics are nice. Design is clean and did not notice any issues with moving around. No map; you won't need it. No voice over; sometimes text disappears quickly. Voice overs would enhance game slightly HOGs are really easy; everything is easy to find. Puzzles are easy to solve. Dialog seemed to focus on having to watch out for scarecrows as if they were really evil. They are just stationary objects; nothing special. If I didn't get distracted I could have finished it in demo mode. Game play time is really short. This is a good starter game for children who are just being introduced to HO games. While this is an OK game I recommend not paying for it. I used free credit to purchase. Over-all this is a well designed game, although lacking in complexity and challenging game play. At first I expected a more challenging game and was very disappointed with the short game play. This game is not recommended for experienced players.

Ghost story with lots of HOS. Good ratio of HOS v. puzzles. HOS were nicely arranged; objects were easily identifiable. Puzzles had only general instructions and you solved by hit or miss. The dialogue was a bit fast in the beginning, so it wasn?t possible to get the entire story if you?re interested ? only the gist of it. Sparkles lead you to what needs to be done ? don?t recall if there were various difficulties to choose from or if I just chose casual. So that could affect a person?s opinion. I don?t mind too much as I usually stop and smell the roses. Nice game is you?re in a HOS mood and don't want much of a challenge.

full demo and was nearly finished with the game lol another farmhouse really? how "original" 1st of all there is no such word as dices pertaining to dice! it is die for 1 and dice for more than 1 dices means to cut something up (stupid progammers have they not heard of spell check?) pros and this depends on personal likes and dislikes: this is a straight forward game no back and forth (yay!) nice for beginners items not hard to find not a junk pile graphics were not bad (they must have had a low budget tho) if u dont play with the sound this if for u ik i watch tv and play so my sound is usually off cons: from what i read the game is very short if u like vos then there is none. hint system for non ho scenes only tells you go to another area or something like that no arrow or anything telling you where u must go next. (dont u just hate that? especially on big games) it does not take a genious to figure out what to do next... u may have to back track a bit but not much. i personally would wait for 2.99 for this one no way would i pay full price for such a short and non prepared game. this is a very forgetable game and i personally will not be purchasing it... but please do not let negative reviews for at least trying it. you may adore it :) Happy Gaming All You Fishies Out There :)

The title looked promising but the game itself is only something a beginner would appreciate. Given the high graphics and content of games right now, this one is a throwback to a simple, uncomplicated HOG that is strung together with a bare storyline of searching for your friend and encountering ghosts in an old haunted farmhouse. No different play levels, you can skip the tutorial, but the game leads you by the nose, not letting you do anything but what you are supposed to. Its primarily one HOG scene after another with dialogue stringing it together. I turned off the sound then the game after about 10 minutes, Too easy and too boring.

the game lasted 15 mins longer than the demo.Wish i hadn't bought it.

Played 16 minutes. No voice overs - lots of reading and the program does not always give you enough time to read what the people are saying. Lots of HOS, but not terribly challenging. So far 2 puzzles - one is "slide the key to the the opening" type; other is a jigsaw, but very simplistic. When you drag the pieces, the puzzle highlights where it should go. Not sure who this game is aimed at - kids may get frustrated with it; and adults may find it corny and not very challenging.

the only thing about this game is that I wasted a free game to play this one. did not know I was almost finished during the trial run. after I purchased it five minutes later I was finished. wow what a big waste.
