I'm always trying different games and stumbled across this delightful series of golden trail games. You collect items for your inventory, to interact w/ to open things, ect. to unlock each part of the town you are investigating. Finding clovers in each screen will help to unlock unlimited Ho as well. They will prompt you if you found everything, (including clovers) what to do next. Moving your cursor slowly, (an item not listed to find) will slightly sparkle. It is a lost item that adds to an achievement as well. Please post your fav. game, after u write ur review. So that others can chk it out as I do. ty game on...
If you're into HO games rather than puzzle/adventure, this is for you. This is almost completely HO, with some interesting mini-puzzles found within them. There is no searching for anything, but there is purpose to your movements and a good story wrapped around the HOs. You'll love shooting the pirates - even I can get them - and they don't affect your game. Even the story is fun and lighthearted. You must travel all over the world to try and find evidence of your grandfather's innocence after he is arrested for piracy. Expect plenty of twists and turns and a little romance, and some beautiful locations. Or you can skip it entirely if you just want HO. The graphics are very professional, with clarity and colour to rival any of the gloomier HOGAs, the voice over is just so great I anticipated each chapter summary so I could listen to him. If you've played Golden Trails 1 The New Western Rush, this is a similar format, but much more sophisticated. As I say, absolutely perfect for HO fans, but with so much fun going on in each scene, even puzzle and adventure fans will probably enjoy it.
I loved the first game, but found this one even better! Lots of hidden object play. I liked shooting the bandits and searching for four-leaf clovers and mystery items in the scenes. Artwork is beautiful. Like the unlimited play at the end. Only improvement I would make: a few of the minigames were confusing. I couldn't always tell what I was supposed to do. But there was a skip option, which was helpful. Overall, excellent game. Hope there's a third in the series!
At first, I thought this game might be a bit childish and lacking in character. It didn't take long to find that I was absorbed and really enjoyed all aspects of the game. The intervening attacks by bandits kept me thinking while not overwhelming me. Puzzels and HOS were just right for my skill level and the storyline was interesting, though, maybe a bit slow. Once you finish the game, the bonuses allow you to try for higher level of acheivement. I would have liked to see all the odds and ends tied together but, that will probably be available in the CE or a future game. Either way, I highly recommend this game to beginners and the more advanced players who want to just have a very good game!
I really enjoyed this game. It's a hidden object game, but there's so much more going on. You look for objects, some are needed to find other objects. You also find hidden shamrocks and *lost* items to win trophies. There's also a shooting challenge to gain more points. It's a lot of fun on the light side, no dark and eerie here! The graphics are colorful and clear, the music is pleasant and the game play is fairly long. I love games with trophies and will replay this game.
I love HOG's and this one I REALLY ENJOYED. Although the HO's were easy enough to find in most cases, I loved the challenge of shooting the bad guys as they appear out of no- where, remembering to collect the clovers along the way and playing the mini games which were different from the norm. I'm now going to replay it in the next level as a challenge. I recommend this game!
This is not a game that I would usually buy, but I'm hooked! The storyline is great. The mini-games are challenging...not impossible, but not easy-peasy. The extras that hooked me where that the player is also shooting random bad guys that pop up(earned extra hints for each one) & the clovers throughout the game to collect. The trophies are a neat bonus: i.e. trophy for finishing a level without any misclicks, spotting 15 items in under a minute, etc. A very well put together story, game, graphics, mini-games, etc. I would recommend this one for the simple fact of the relaxing factor. It's fun, yet relaxing. It's challenging, but not frustrating.
I love these types of HOPA's that have replay value!!! It's mostly HOG, some puzzles (some easy, some hard), good story, and I even leave the music on the whole game! But the best part of this game for me is trying to get ALL the trophies (which I have yet to complete). Maybe I'm just overly competitive, but I love going back and beating my score. Don't forget to pick up clovers, shoot bandits, and find the "lost items". LOVE this game!!!!!!!!
As a rule I generally don't buy many hidden object games. I do like them but I find that I complete them far too quickly and replaying them doesn't provide much entertainment although this one is bundles of fun and for once I actually paid full attention to the story and just HAD to buy it, to see how it ended. The game itself is very interesting and has just more than your standard hidden object scenes. It isn't the long game I ever played and I still prefer my TM games but I did love this!
This was just as good as the first game, maybe even better. I enjoyed the story and the graphics were clear. The HOs were easy to see but still challenging and I loved the extra perks of collecting clovers and shooting pirates!
