You are the chef preparing dishes for a menu that you create. For each dish there is a string of steps to take, what makes it difficult is when you have three dishes to prepare at once and as a dish sits it's rating goes down. So you have to balance your time in doing steps for each item and finishing the dishes close to one another, which is the most challenging aspect of the game. I did not have a huge problem with the controls, it did take some getting used to. The only thing I found annoying was not having an indicator to how close the dish was being completed, because some finished much quicker and since that is a big component of the game that would have been useful.
This is a fun game, challenging and will keep you busy. I have beat this game a couple of times, but have redone it, it is that fun.
I was enthralled in this game. We need more of these, I love how it feels like I'm cooking. I'm disabled so I love domestic games like this! Please add more of these games YAY!
Good Parts: The game has great graphics. Unlike some TM games, a lot of effort ws put in to these No time limit OK Parts: The Storyline. It was getting there, but could've done with some tweaking. The Match 3. I liked this, but the background for it was stupid. Match them, and get points to pass a health inspection. Bad Parts: Unable to send dishes out when you complete them, so you have to leave them to sit and lose quality untill all the dishes are done. This really needs to be looked at and fixed for the next game! This game lacks a lot of fun. I really did not want to keep going (have 43 minutes of demo left) The Controls are pretty stupid. You use your mouse for everything. This game is a real bore. I was let down by a lot of things and I cannot recommend it.
This game has a series of mouse actions that you have to go through to create/cook dishes. There are windows that have the action or "complex" actions (where you have multiple motions on a sliding timer you have to accomplish as the ticker reaches a green area to achieve a perfect dish). The reaction as you do the motions are inconsistent & clunky at best. You take the tutorial and it seems simple enough & the game even encourages you by giving you a perfect rating for the action, however when you start actually playing the game, you perform the action exactly as you did in the tutorial (when it gives you resounding positive feedback on your performance) and it's terrible within the actual game play, resulting in poor scoring or all-out failure of the level at hand. I played it for an hour straight & same issue. I tried maneuvering the mouse within certain parts of the action area & also by waiting for the indicator to either be in the "full green" or starting as soon as the indicator became green with the same bad results. Just very frustrating & inconsistent. Would absolutely NOT recommend to anyone who likes cooking games.
VERY FUN AND AWESOME! I ALREADY BOUGHT THIS EXCITING GAME AND RECOMMENDED IT TO FRIENDS.
