If you are really into Food Network style shows like Iron Chef, or variations thereof, then Kitchen Brigade might be right up you alley. Definitely a sequel to Cooking Academy games, this one is a little more relaxing, in that you actually have a team of NPCs helping you out. You have to succeed in running different types of ethnic restaurants, and really impress the judge of the competition before you can go on to the phase. The cuisine is everything from traditional American to Japanese-Thai, it covers the globe, and we get different kinds of customers that have personalities that will work for or against us, depending on how patient they are. There are impatient ones, and you can bribe them with cookies, but I think it would take more than a cookie to keep real people on the go from losing it. Having some back-up staff to cut, mash, boil, and help you fry up food is a big plus, and these little cooking games get more like the shows we see all the time, but I don't think we'll be seeing anything like Restaurant Impossible soon, then again, when casual game developers are looking to pop culture to get ideas for games, who knows what we'll see next.
I really enjoy this game and play it quite often. So where is the next one at? this is one of the first games i bought and have been waiting along time for the next one to come out.
The personalities of Burger Shop (Mom and Kid, Sumo Wrestler, Diva) come face to face with the challanges of Cooking Academy. If you enjoy either of those Games, you'll also like this one. Gets Repetitive, but is still challanging. Have to see what happens when the levels get tougher.
This is basically a mash-up of Cooking Academy and Go Go Gourmet. I really liked it! Good Parts: Really Fun! Good Graphics. Very much improved from cooking academy and go go gourmet. A great challenge. The different types ofcustomers. You could leave ones such as the monk untill you'd dealt with ones like the Actress. The Food-o-matic was really good. I used it on big orders. A really great storyline, similar to go go gourmet 2: Chef of the Year OK Parts: They seemed to get impatient very quickly Bad Parts: Having chefs on hand to take on the jobs took away from the fun. Handling multiple orders at once was classic Go Go Gourmet, but took away from the classic, no stress feeling of Cooking Academy. Wether you view it as Cooking Academy 4, Go Go Gourmet 3, or a whole new series, you're bound to enjoy this one. Highly recommended.
Seriously this is the most amazing game! Do you know how long it took me to find this game again? It's the best game next to Cooking Academy, Alice Greenfingers, and Farm Mania. I like how I get to get to cook and slice things... It's the best!
I had high expectations after reading the game description and reviews. It was a lot of fun to begin with. But by the middle of the 2nd restaurant, waiting on customers and doling out the work to the workers started to become tedious. I do play other time management games and still enjoy most ? perhaps it?s that this game has a limited range of motion for the activities ? just place the food items where they need to be and click on the finished food for delivery. I want a little more activity.
superb game bt have to buy it thats the disadventage
This game really seems like no other to me. I love cooking games and have played a lot of them, but this one is different. You manage the customers and cook all of the foods. It sounds simple but at times, it isn't. It's pretty challenging. I usually can beat the expert levels on a game within a few days of buying it, but I still can't meet many of the expert levels in this game. Still, it's not frustratingly hard. It's fun and is a game you can play over and over again. I recommend at least trying it. I bought it and I'm glad I did. :)
I absolutely love playing this game. I had to get it. It's like no other cooking game.
Love this game. My kind of time management!
