BASED ON COMPLETE DEMO Story: Sarah tries to find her missing friend, who was taken away by a dark being in the middle of the night. When no one else will take her seriously, she comes to the Mystery Agency for help. Developer: Cranberry Production Release Date: Feb 2011 Extras: None This one is old in style and game mechanics, more about the HOs and other puzzles than the story. The story is admittedly lame .But it is wrapped around a delirious number of different-styled HOs and puzzles. HOs include listed items, silhouettes, and fragmented HOs and there are quite a lot of easy puzzles ? lots of spot the difference for instance. Too many dialogue balloons slow the game down, but you can click them away. The graphics are fine, clear and easy to see ? although some objects are small. For HO lovers, this game has it all, so if that?s you, why don?t you ignore the critics and give it a whirl.
I don't know what I expected when I downloaded the demo. Maybe something exciting..or...really, I don't know. All I do know is that this game was awful. You start in the park late in the day (might even be considered night) because your friend lost her earring and wants to find it NOW. And so, a quick Hidden Object Scene later, your talking again, there's a loud rustle in the bushes, you both get scared and then...vampire shows up with his head in your friend's neck and runs off with her. The next day you head over to a Private Detective after other detectives laugh at your claim... If you're really interested in this game and want to form your own opinion, I'm begging you to try the demo before you consider buying the game. It might just save your money.
I downloaded this game with an open mind. the screen shots showed the usual HO. I only managed to hang in there for about 10minutes and that was because I kept thinking it would get better. This game is made of up of tons of dialog and HO scenes. I'm sure there are mini games... I didn't make it that far. The story line is your friend lost her earring, in a forrest of all places and while looking for it, she is bitten by a vampire and taken away. the scene with the attack by the vampire is very lame. You stand there watching and your friend puts up no fight whatsoever. Hmm So you have to hire the Mystery Agency to find her. Your first task before he will even talk to you is to find the "code". I wish I could have found a saving grace in this game but it just wasn't there! Sorry!
