I read the other reviews and although it isn't a very exciting game, I did enjoy learning about the Taj Mahal. It is a beautiful structure and most people really don't know much about it. I think games can be fun - but learning something new should be also. Not my favorite by far... but entertaining enough in a simple way.
I played the demo of this game when it first came out and the beauty of it really stuck with me so when it appeared as a daily deal I snapped it up. Trutfully, very difficult to play with little direction given.and short as well. I am not sorry I bought it, and may play it again in the future now that I know how to play it!
I did buy this game after completing 2 of the 5 chapters within the hour demo. The format of this hidden object game is different and challenging -- which is why I bought this game; though I doubt that I would have paid anything more than the DD price because I found myself feeling overwhelmed at times and needing to take a few deep breaths. Cons: *cannot skip mini-games *tile game will time-out after 3 incorrect moves and ask if you want to Retry *takes GREAT eye control and memory for pool mini-game *tiny and color-on-color hidden objects *3 misclicks while looking for objects and hint button empties out *if you say NO on the Retry attempt, mini-game is NOT solved but not sure if you can continue the game itself or not as I went back into the mini-game and completed it Pros: *beautiful graphics *great history about Taj Mahal *mosaic mini-games -- pieces light up when over correct placement setting If you're looking for something different, you might want to give this game a try; just remember to take a few deep breaths when it gets frustrating
Once I got the kinks worked out, figured out what all the twists and turns were, it was a bright, colourful game and I will play it again. Some different puzzles, just have to figure out what they want, different from other games. It took awhile to know what was wanted with the tile puzzles and to find some of the hidden objects was really tough. Overall tho', it was a good puzzle, difficult in places and no skips, so that will frustrate some folks. The tunnels also will be frustrating. All that being said, I really enjoyed it.
I thought the game was a challenge, it's nice to get a game where you have to think what to do next. the puzzles are easy to do but saying that they were fun and you have to finish the puzzle to move on to the next challenge. great game to relax with. I bought it so i could see if it got harder the more you go into the game. must buy.
Visuals are lovely. Sound track is incredibly annoying.Gems are TINY. Right click doesn't work in the minigames! Nice concept, not ready for prime time. I honestly wish I liked this one!
This review is based on the demo onlyRight of the bat I noticed poor grammar. I can live with that but there are to many other things with this game that makes it a no buy for me. Pros: Lovely art work Sparkles show where item is if you pause to long(usually that would be bad but in this you need it to find the teeny little items) Cons: Very tiny objects to find Irritating music Map is very poorly made. Useless Not a good story line. No skip on mini games
The game was beautifully done Visual and very pleasing to look at. This could have been a good game. I got to where the you had to copy rings in the water and it went up to 8 as far as i know for i did not get passed that. The problem was that the rings lost their color so now you are looking at 8 rings in the Taj Mahal's pool and trying to remember where they all are.. There was no skipping the mini game, so therefore i could not continue in the actual game play..
This was a really short game. By the end of the one hour trial, I was about 5 minutes from finishing the game completely (based on checking the walkthrough for length). I used only a couple of hints to find items that were too small to see, and did not skip puzzles. In fact, I probably wasted more than ten minutes of my trial just trying to figure out where to go next. There were very few HO scenes. I really didn't have to look at the lists until the last couple of objects, as the lists were basically "find what doesn't belong in the scene."
The visuals on this game are beautiful. That said, this game is terrible. You can waste a half hour trying to point to the EXACT spot to move ahead. I spent an hour going around and around before FINALLY hitting the correct spot and that's after having to resort to the walkthrough. The puzzles are too easy. Don't waste your money on this one.
