I have this game on my laptop and Ipad, it's so much fun.
The idea has potential, but the game overall is missing some key elements that made it much less enjoyable for me. There is, as far as I could tell, no way to restart a level. Because of the way gameplay is designed, you can find yourself with no further options to serve customers, but no way to restart the level, and no way to even end the level except to wait for time to run out. I found myself waiting for my last customers to get angry and leave, because I couldn't serve them, and I couldn't end the level myself. Very frustrating.
This would be a great game if not for one major flaw: there is no garbage can to dispose of "mistakes." I double-clicked in building a sandwich, picking up two bun tops, but I already had my two tables filled up. There was nothing I could do from there except go to the main menu and start completely over. I uninstalled the trial version after 8 minutes of play.
Different ingredients and upgrades - same thing. Get the ingredients to fill the customers' orders before they lose patience and leave. Does get boring after awhile due to the repetitive nature. So you have to take a long break in between playing. Waiting on the customers can get quite dicey when they start piling up because you got an ingredient in the wrong order or picked up something by accident. By the time you figure out what you did and how to correct it, you've added another 3 customers and will surely lose one or two. Frustrating. But still fun in short bursts.
