I wanted to like this game. At first glance it was pretty cute- I mean you got a puppy at one point that would dig up gold for you! However, the more I played it the more bored I got with it. It was on a daily deal, and I almost bought it without playing the demo, but I'm glad I decided to try it first instead. I played about a half hour of it and quit. There's not much of a storyline here. You're basically given this farm to improve, and you have to grow certain crops to meet different objectives. In later levels you buy equipment to make your crops into different products like sunflower seed oil and popcorn. Then you sell these products via a delivery truck that comes and goes from your farm. As your plants are growing you have to take care of them- the better care you take, the more product your crop can produce. It sounds fun, but honestly it gets really old, really fast. Several of the levels had the same objectives- they just asked for different quantities of things. The actions you must take are very repetitive. With the exception of having to shoo some sheep away occasionally or feed your dog, there is nothing that keeps you from using the same methods time and again to meet your goals. I just found this game underwhelming, and highly recommend that you play the demo if you're still thinking about buying it after reading all this.
I have not got anywhere near completing the demo but I am so bored with it and I love this sort of TM game usually. I found the instructions vague and frustrating and the gameplay was so simplistic that it was no fun. I was excited to see this sort of game as a Daily Deal but I am really disappointed in it.
I really enjoyed this game. It took me a really long time to get gold on all the levels (not necessary to get through the game, just a challenge I set myself), although it was interesting that the ones I found hardest to get gold on weren't the last ones. The sheep were obviously designed by a sadist, but a fun challenge. It doesn't have the graphical quality of some other games, but it's pretty good quality for a time management game. My big gripe is all the clicking. Part of the reason it took me so long to get through was that quite often, it hurt my wrists. Definitely not the game for you if you have any issues with overuse injuries. But I did have a lot of fun with it, and I'm sorry there are no more levels to conquer.
This is a fun little game for everyone in the family! There are different levels of game play to achieve set goals to advance to the next level. You can also replay levels any time you want to beat your best time. There are trophies to win by accomplishing such things as chasing away so many sheep, earning $1000 in one level, planting so many plants, etc. There is a bit of clicking involved. You can buy items at the store to help out in this area. All in all, it's a fun game to waste some time during your day at a Daily Deal price! Who could want more!
This is a good game the only thing I noticed it that it is a little confusing at point about what to do. Also, I wish all of the objectives were displayed all at once rather than one at a time.
The game is reasonably fun as far as time managemant games go though it is too click heavy for my tastes. If you do not have good reflexes (mine aren't the best and they are getting worse as I get older) you'll never get a chance to finish the game. I'm currently 10 points short of being able to unlock level 18. I have 5 gold levels and all the rest are silver. Try as I might I can't seem to improve any scores enough to go on. I'd like to see what happens further along in the game but I can't progress any farther because of the way that the farther levels unlock. This makes the game frustrating instead of fun. I find that I am regretting purchasing this game for this reason alone. I don't recommend this game. I would change that opinion and give the game a higher rating if the developers were to adjust it so that it was easier to unlock all the levels or if there was a "casual mode" that didn't require the levels to be unlocked to proceed.
I love this game I hope they make a second part of this game.
This game is so boring I didn't make it past the 5 minute mark. All you do is click, click and click your mouse again. You are watering the flower, tilling the flower, harvesting the flower and dispatching it to the market for sale. Sound familiar? Big Fish...no wonder you put these terrible games on sale, only, I don't see the bargain!
