My review is for the whole game which is hours of game play as it took me 2 days, playing an hour or two here and there. This game has 7 levels however there are levels within each level. Overall I would say close to 60 levels give or take a few as I kinda lost track. Some have more than others. This is also a timed game which I LOVE and prefer. I like to be under pressure while playing. Racing against the clock. There is no relaxed mode without a timer so some may not care for this game because of that. The game here starts you off with 3 lives which you do have a chance to earn more as I earned as many as 10. You also get points. The quicker you finish the more points. If you do lose all your lives, you also lose all your points and it will take you back to the beginning of the level. For example if you make it to Level 7-5 but lose, the game will take you back to 7-1. What you are doing in this match 3 game is clearing a path for Jane (the lady character here) to collect pieces to items which will also show you up at the top how much you have completed. Once you hit 100% you've completed that level. You also gather "tools" so you can make your way to the next board such as: keys to open doors, buckets of water to put out fire, bridges, water rafts to get across the water, ladders, drills to break down the walls, and torches to remove cob webs. You also have to gather these again for the next level as they don't carry over. There are however power us to help you clear the path: hammers and lighting that you can collect along the way which these do go to the next level what you haven't used I had as many as 20 hammers and 15 lighting. For me while this game is really fun wasn't very challenging however I did feel it getting a little more challenging as I moved along but not until I got to level 7 and then I had to really start using the hammers and lighting. I did end up losing all my 10 lives and I also had close to 500,000 points so I just started over from the ve
This is almost like El Dorado game, you have to match 3 or more pieces for the character to move, as I`m writing this I only see one character(unlike El Dorado which sometimes has 2 characters).
I bought this game only recently, having played El Dorado Quest (from the same developers) for a couple of years. This one is better than EDQ because the imagery is so much more positive. Love all the Buddhas, landscapes etc. The graphics are very simple and not very clever but for me, the imagery and game play more than make up for that. I can see that this one is going to become a regular relaxation for me.
I have recently become a fan of M3 games and have also found that this type of M3 is most fun. You open up a path for Jane to follow through on the board. Along the way, you pick up machettes, vases of water, materials for bridges, etc. These are all used to get you from one board to the next in order to finish each level. I only played the demo however, I do intend to purchase this game and continue the fun. The challenge of moving Jane from one screen to the next is, for me, a little bonus on a M3 rather than just clearing screens and making matches. Adds a little more to it for me. The graphics and sound are above average and things move very smoothly through this game. I enjoyed it very much.
Excellent match 3. When playing time is running too fast. My grand son likes it very much.
I am 88 and love the challenge every day.
Relaxing whilst a fun challenge.
Based on Demo: This was a fun adventure/match 3/puzzle gameThe storyline is girl chasing after father chasing after shangri-La. You not only have to match 3, you have to do it along a path, gather tools , gather extras, and you get a puzzle or so at end. At first seems easy, but as you go along the challenges build up & it was really a nice gane & fun & time just went to quickly
the only complaint i have about this there is not a lot of extra lives also nothing for large combinations like letting the timer freeze for say 30 seconds but other than that it is a very good game
This game was so relaxing that the 1hr went by so fast. This is a good game for kids. It is a match 3 where you match 3 of the same kind. On each level you earn a ladder, hammer, etc. I would recommend this game.
