Average Match 3 game

As far as Match 3 games go I thought that this was very average, a bit slow paced for me but okay as far as the free trial went, not a game I would purchase however.

Cute family game

Enjoyable Match 3 with the story of Gulliver. You can play timed or relaxing. Two game modes alternating: switch tokens to match 3 or more, or, click on groups of three or more tokens, and to finish board you have to clear blue slots. Each time you finish a chapter, you get a stamp in your passport and a postcard (a very easy puzzle that you have to assemble). It also has a journal with the adventures and places you have been. As you advance, you get weapons like a hammer (breaking a single piece), a torch (to break all the pieces of a kind), etc.. It has a shuffle button. The boards are becoming more difficult, with grids or ropes to break, but the game itself is pretty easy. Very entertaining to play with children.

gulliver

I liked the game, the colors and all but didn't see the need to keep going back to the journal and passports at the end of each challenge.

Match-3

I injoyed Travels With Gulliver, because it is fun & relaxing.

No challenge.

I love a challenging Match 3 game but they're few & far between. This one was too easy & thus dull. Trashed after 10 minutes of the demo.

Outstanding Match 3

This is an outstanding Match 3 on many levels. The graphics are beautiful and well integrated throughout. Lots of small, subtle but very much appreciated touches. Nice relaxing background music that enhances the game without becoming annoying. This is the type of Match 3 where you drag cursor to make chains although each "Chapter" begins with one board where you simply hover your cursor over available groups to select them for removal off the board (you don't have to drag the cursor to make chains). The Character's story meshes well with excerpts from Gulliver's Travels. We're also give bits of information about the variation destinations visited. Just the right amount to be interesting but not distracting. Very relaxing and after 30 minutes went by, I realized not one power-up had been necessary. But I was in relaxed mode. So those who really want a bit more of a challenge may find this game lacking in that regard. There are mini-games interspersed with the M3 & story but the flow was very, very well done. Enjoyable and highly recommended.

sweet Game but Hard to See

this game is sweet and well designed but the graphics are overwhelming. The plates are way too ornate and overdesigned, not in a fun way, making it difficult to see the playing board and the replacement pieces dropping from so far above take too long to get there. The bonus powerups are also very strange and hard to figure out - use the one on top and they all disappear, use the one on the bottom and you have multiples - but this isn't noted anywhere. The story line following his travels is sweet but the book opening and closing is dopey looking. The little jigsaw puzzle of a location he visits after each level is completed is cute and a welcome break from playing the other modes. This game could be really nice with better graphics.
