Entertaining

One o fmy favorite game, lots of brilliant locations, good story and fine challenging.

Good

Not very challenging, but the storyline was fun. I was confused playing it as to whether there was a previous game, and afterwards read in the forums that this is the second, it would be better if they stated that this is the second in the series in the game description when you are buying it, so i suggest playing Veronica Rivers: Portals to the Unknown, first.

Good for a Rainy Day

This title was not very exciting. It's your standard Hidden Object Game with unchallenging Mini-Games in the middle. The story line is horribtle and the graphics were just okay. If you're bored, it's raining outside, there's nothing on TV but Full House Reruns...go for it!

Love those HOGS

I really enjoyed this game & found it very relaxing & a good story line......Once again I am going to say, THIS IS A HIDDEN OBJECT GAME!!!!!.....I don't know why it surprises people when the review of the game tells you it's a hidden object......I love the HOGS & wish there were more of just HOGS.....There are enough adventure games but not nearly enough straight HOS......To get back to my review.....The graphics were well done & if you haven't played a Veronica Rivers game yet, I suggest you play the first one before playing this one......I really enjoyed the first one & will definitely buy this one.....I do hope BFG is working on a third installment.....Keep those HOGS coming BFG & I'll keep buying them......I highly recommend this game.....

Mediocre at best

Feels really dated. Flat, two-dimensional graphics. Not much challenge. The "easy" setting is far too easy; it tells you everything to do. Even the "normal" setting walks you through the game. Linear story, with no opportunities to wander around and explore. On the plus side, it's a bright, colorful game, which is a change from the constant witches, ghosts, and vampires.

Nice Game

I recommend this because it's one of the older games, and a bit simplistic. You need to play this on the normal level and not on the easy level or you will become very bored. It's a nice story line and progresses well.

Not Up to Expectations

The demo wasn?t bad. But having played Portals to the Unknown in its entirety, I?m very disappointed in this offering and couldn?t wait for it to end. With Veronica being a rescue pilot and with the earth being in danger, the story had a lot of potential but fell short. Not much to do ? just search for objects and play puzzles. There is no inventory. Anything you find in the HOS automatically goes where needed, so you?re even deprived of that activity. There are many interesting puzzles with difficulty ranging from easy to challenging, but I would expect the game to match the more sophisticated puzzles in quality. Graphics were murky, especially in the HOS. Music changes, depending on the environment, and the cutscenes and dialogue were okay. Ending was blas?. Seemed to be a cliffhanger suggesting a sequel, but the game design and production values need to increase a lot for me to consider buying. 2 1/2 stars, downgraded because this studio can and does offer more.

Out and Out Hidden Object Game

I didn't know how to do a review of this game. For me, it was boring. For people who love the hidden object aspect without much of a story and few mini-games it would be perfect. It is one hidden object screen after another throughout the whole game. I finished it but it drove me crazy.

Try before buying

I really liked the music and some of the HO scenes....BUT the story line had no magic and it was boring at times. Towards the ending...it dragged along with very little substance. Sorry...but I don't grade this in the priorty of gaming!
