I just finished played the full collectors edition, and it was worth every penny!!! It took about 5 hours to finish the game, which is decent time to me when it comes to Hidden Object Games. You get through the whole game which takes a long time as it is, and then it opens up a whole new chapter, which was a surprising twist ending. The story behind the game was worth it all. You don't understand who you are or what you're doing there until the end of the game and it was worth the anticipation. It doesn't end how you would expect it too. It was really interesting. The story just gets better if you read the journal while you are playing the game. The graphics and cartoon video clips were good, 4/5. The sounds are amazing but a little repetitive, 4/5. There wasn't much music, which was little disappointing, but the main soundtrack that does play sets the tone to the game very nicely. Kind of creepy and haunting and it worked perfectly with the story line. There's only one thing that I didn't like too much, the Puzzles that you are required to play weren't really Puzzles. Not challenging at all. They needed to make those a little bit more difficult. All in all... It was a really good game. Recommend.
I just got done playing the trial and have purchased it. I love the spookyness of the game. The storyline is great as well as the graphics. One of my new favorites now!
This game has nice atmosphere and is just challenging enough for a grown up, great for teens.
An excellent game - graphics excellent, story great. There is a recommendation by producers to play it in the dark - I tried both with and without the light on - probably slightly more effective in the dark! The challenge I thought could have been greater but overall a very well designed game. The only criticism I would have is that for a Collectors Edition it was far too short - I had it played in about 4 hours. I would recommend buying it but maybe not the Collector's Edition as I do not think it is worth it.
I knew within the first ten minutes of the demo that I would definitely be buying this game and just a heads up I'm writing this after finishing the game and the bonus chapter. The voice overs are actually pretty good for a game but the story is great. It pretty much plays out like a good thriller, sort of a sixth sense type with a crazy twist... Don't worry, I wont spoil it! The graphics are amazing and the music definitely fits the overall atmosphere, at one point there is even a creepy rendition of ring around the rosie. The puzzles are fun and the hidden object scenes are better than a lot of other games although I was a bit disappointed they didnt add any objects that take extra steps to find. My only real complaint is that it didn't last long enough... I would say game play is about average maybe 4 or 5 hours plus the bonus chapter but I was so into the game I wanted it to go on longer! This game is definitely worth buying.
This review is based on the demo only, but I as I write this I am downloading the full game. The graphics and sound are great and I agree with the developer of the game to play it with the lights off and sound on. This is a thriller that starts right from the gate. As you awaken, you are in a closed down hospital and you have already been injected with an agent that will kill you unless you find the antidote. Of course, the crazy doctor is there to taunt you along the way. This is the kind of game that I love to play. HOSs appear easy but there's a lot of other interaction in this adventure that keeps you involved. Enjoy!
I loved this game. Everything i look for in a HOG! I even jumped in some of the parts, you'll see what i mean when you get there. Bought the game and am now in the process of working my way through it, forget the housework!!!! Would throughly recommend this game.
I have purchased almost 200 games, alot C.E. and this game is perfect for me. Each Hidden Ob ject place is so neat, not cluttered with 100 or so items that keeps you there forever or using Hints. Don't get the wrong idea though, this designer is very clever hiding 12-15 objects in a very spacious area (it seems). Love thunder and rain so I am in my element here and hope a follow up or new game from him/her comes soon.
I really liked this one it has a lot of different places that you have to go to, I like that it is just long enough, and I really enjoyed the story to it. Baba 247
Well this is kind of spooky with children singing " ring a ring of roses" and the scary voices of the sick minded character who happens to call the children his rats!. I must inform fellow Brits that it took me a while to figure out that a bandage is in fact what we call a plaster and a faucet is in fact a tap! Get used to the different name for things and it's worth it. Loved the story, spooky and intriguing with a desire to keep going. The soup making task was brilliant as was the HOS in the shape of a phone. This was your usual baddy kidnaps you and you have to escape but that's what i love and the mini games (not that many) were great too. The graphics were spot on. I don't understand the bad reviews but hey download the free trial and make your mind up after that, that's what i did and bought it straight away. Well worth it. :-)
