BORING

Waste of download space. No real story line nothing but hidden object scene after another. some items are way to small to see. I stopped and deleted the game after 10 minutes.

Boring hidden object game

Probably the most boring game I have ever played . Very poor storyline

favorite kind of game

This is a straight hidden object game. Objects are sometimes small, but well drawn, so that once spotted, they are easy to identify. My only criticism is that there are no puzzles between scenes, so it can become a little tedious. I can emphatically recommend this game to those who, like me, enjoy the old-fashioned hidden object games.

If you love HOG, then try this....

but not my cup of tea. Game was just "ok" for me... (This review is based on the one hour trial.) One very strange thing -- when I shut it down with 14 minutes of free play left, and went back to play the rest of my free time, it was like I'd never played the game. If I was to play more, I had to start all over from the beginning... Dunno if this was just my experience or if something went wrong somehow. Anyway, didn't bother playing the last 14 minutes and deleted the game from my queue. This is a very simple, straight-forward game -- by that, I mean, it has no special effects, no animation, nothing to "wow" you.... The objects you find are not junk areas, which is a plus -- they are an integral part of getting the information you need to solve the disappearance of her son. I found the music irritating.... I normally turn the music down on my games, but for this one, I turned it completely OFF. In the 45 minutes I did play, there were basically three things to do.... find the objects listed; find the differences between two similar scenes, and find/match portions of the scene (such as cracks in the wall) that are presented to you in "photos"... Again, if you love HOG, try this out. Otherwise, it's a pass and doesn't stand up to even the most average "adventure game".

Microscopic HOs...

Unfortunately, I could only take 13 mins of the demo. This is a definite no buy for me, even as a DD, because of the Microscopic HOs. The graphics are good enough, that the HOs are distinguishable once you finally see them, however some are very tiny and blended. The HOs themselves are story related, and appropriate. The hints recharge extremely quickly, which is a plus, as you will probably need them to save your eyes. This is a straight forward HOG. It is VERY SIMPLE. There are no puzzles, as this game solves them for you, such as putting together pieces of notes, photos, safe combos, and even using tools to break into places is done for you. It even goes so far as to tell where you have to go next, so if you enjoy extreme hand holding, this is the game for you. There are no voice overs, and no junk piles. The music is unobtrusive. The story line didn't capture my interest, and seemed to drag, as you have to click next through ALL of the dialog. Overall, this game seems very dated. With the "Starz" movie channel endorsement, I expected more.

SUPER EASY AND SUPER SHORT

This game was very short and very easy, except for some of the items in the HO scenes that were very, very small. The game is very linear, which I liked, and lead you to each step. There was no guess work involved. There were no mini games per se, but there were other "tasks" that weren't HO scenes that might count as such. The title of my review says it all.

Terrible!!

If I had a choice between playing this game and having a root canal . . .I'd choose the root canal. At least when it was over, I'd have a prescription for pain meds.

way too easy

Almost a straight HOG. You have to find pieces of notes, etc and then the puzzle even puts them together for you. If you click on the safe after you have the combo, the screen zooms in on an open safe. I get the sense this is an old game. There is just no "there" there.

Wisegal, easy, boring and repetative

Based on 60 minute trial Story line: Based on the movie by the same name. Main character Patti Montanari worked as a money courier for the Mob in NYC until she fled with her children to Florida to remove the children from the mob environment. Her hope was to prevent her children from being drawn into the mob. When her son Nino travels back to the old neighborhood Mom(you) follow to help make sure he is safe and out of danger. Unfortunately a turf war between the Italian and Russian mobs is going on. The areas that are searched will include items that would be associated with mob activity such as various guns, ammo, knives, brass knuckles, listening devices(bugs), racing & betting slips and drugs. Drugs included both pills & a bottle of chloriform and needles for injection. As this is a game based on her past mob employment illegal activities should not be surprising. Game play: Probably OK for the beginner player but I found it boring and slow. It also seems illogical to be counting butterflies in the park while looking for your missing son Nino who may have been taken by the mob. A irritating part of the game is that you must click "next" in each text box to progress the story and the boxes move from the top to the bottom of the screen, which slows you down on clicking through the text boxes. A reviewer in the forums stated that the game was about 2 hours long. Hidden Objects: Items to be found make sense in the setting that you search and the graphics are not bad. Some items can be VERY small. Single earrings and cuff links will likely test your eye sight. You will also loose count of how many torn up notes, clothing and broken items you will find. Even when you find torn up pieces of a note the game will put them together for you which was a lost opportunity for the creators. Hints: The hint circle disappears very quickly so be sure to pay attention if you need to use the hint or you may need to use a second hint to spot where they were highlighting. At least the hint
