This game started out ok, but as the levels went on it got tedious and boring. It was hard to determine between certain things say like mayo or cheese. Definitely not worth a game credit.
I liked the theme period and artwork of this game, it was cute. The sandwiches look delicious and made me want to make my own to eat! It looks cozy and inviting inside the shop, so it was attractive to play. At first, things were fun learning all the new ingredients and breads to make up sandwiches, plus the quirks of certain customers (like the gentleman who always wants EVERYTHING on his sandwich). By about level 35 though, things started getting tedious and tiring, and my wrist and arm were aching from clicking so much even after taking breaks. Elise was the only worker in the shop; no helpers. Upgrades to the shop appearance stopped happening half-way through, so that was a let down--it needed more pretty options to hold my interest. The restaurant started getting crowded and patrons all grouped in clumps so it was hard to tell who had which thought bubble and I often clicked on the wrong person because they were all overlapping. I didn't like the way the ingredients were laid out as Elise kept circling around, back and forth, wasting time and often stood in the way of condiments so they were hard to click onl I played untimed mode, but when the big message popped up "Level completed!" more lines of patrons still continued to come through the door expecting to be served, so I went ahead and did that, but I never understood the point of that aspect. Overall, the game is fun up to a point, but then becomes repetitious and makes my arm sore. It could have had a lot more going for it with some changes and additions. Still, I would recommend this game perhaps if on sale.
It's a simple game, very interesting, sometimes it gets a little hard, but it's a good game!
Really entertaining, I would definitely recommend it!
Whew! I just finished the last level yesterday & I must say this game kept me on my feet! (And I haven't even played it in "hard mode" yet.) SO MUCH FUN! The characters are cute & the music is great. I wish there had been more gameplay upgrades, such as faster shoes & the ability to carry more items at once, but otherwise a great game!
I like challenging TMG. I almost had a stroke trying to get gold in all levels! I had a looott of fun. Loved it and recommend.
this time management strategy game has a 1700s theme to it, although i don't recall women running their own sandwich shops at that time in history. anyway, in this game, you are helping Elise run this shop, which means you are guiding her as she builds various types of sandwiches, gets juice and other items for her customers, and stops the evil petty thief from sneaking behind the counter to steal foods without paying for them. graphics: i didn't much like the graphics or artwork. instead of helping maintain the rustic theme, the art was just grainy and sloppy. it was also difficult to see the sandwiches (tiny, fuzzy) to know what each customer wanted. cutscenes were strip cartoons with scripted dialogue. music and sound effects: music is boring. i almost never turn off the music on a video game, but this time, i did just that. no sound effects and no voiceovers. storyline: the success of Elise's sandwich shop will help establish the sandwich as a staple food item in her community. your goal is to help her achieve that. gameplay: there are several modes of play: timed, untimed, endless and hard mode. the entire game was slow, which is stressful enough to make you anxious if you regularly play many time management games. you can queue tasks. my interaction: one hour demo, timed mode. i've no plans to purchase this game. this game feels unfinished: the art is sloppy, the gameplay is slow, it doesn't present any challenge and the storyline is not believable. if you want to play a truly fun, engaging and addictive time management "sandwich" game, go check out "burger shop" or "burger shop 2", both of which have great graphics and are crazy and humorous fun for the entire family.
Nice game, love the medieval them on this one. Simple, yet slightly challenging. There is strategy over speed aspect on this one if you want expert on all levels.
And still remember how much fun it was!
Ye Olde Sandwich Shoppe game is crazy fun from start. I got hooked play trial. If you like to be challenge you we love this game.
